Godly Play

Age 3 through Grade 2

“I wonder . . . “ is often heard in the Godly Play classroom, a room full of materials for telling stories from the Bible and the church year, art supplies for responding to the stories, and time for wondering together. Godly Play is, as founder Jerome Berryman puts it, a way to “give children the language of the Christian faith so that they can use it make meaning in their lives.”

The materials for our Godly Playroom were generously donated by the family of Holly Schjolden, in memory of her kindness and dedication to the children of House of Prayer.
